Work experience with a difference
I'm looking for an apprentice/intern for six months, starting in July/August. This widely varied, intensely challenging, woefully poorly-paid, but intellectually highly rewarding job will involve working (in London) on a number of projects focused on marketing wines (and other drinks) in innovative ways; novel forms of wine education and some off-the-wall ways to use social media in a range of countries including the UK, US, China and India.
The ideal person will
a) love wine but absolutely NOT be a geek
b) be a user of various forms of social media WITHOUT being a geek
c) be fascinated in WHY people buy and drink the wines and other drinks they do
d) be really good at looking at things in ORIGINAL ways
e) be hungrily AMBITIOUS
f) be ready to work REALLY hard
g) want to become a GREAT wine marketer
If you are interested in the kind of thing I do, please take a look at my blog, and at
And if you're still crazy enough to put yourself forward for the job, please send me an email wiith your CV, reasons why you'd like to be my intern / and why you think you'd be ideal for the job,
